Authenticator - Updating MFA options
In case you are asked to update the Authenticator options for some users, please follow the steps below.
1. Access the URL - https://admin.microsoft.com/
2. Search for a user under Users > Active Users
3. Tick a tick box next to the user's Display name.
4. From the top menu, choose Multi-factor authentication.
5. You will be redirected to the https://entra.microsoft.com/#view/Microsoft_AAD_IAM/MultifactorAuthenticationConfig.ReactView.
6. In the Search bar, look for the user in question.
7. Tick the tick box next to the user's Name.
Here you can Enable/Disable or change the settings for User MFA settings
8. By chosing the User MFA settingsd option and ticking the below, you can restart the way the user authenticate his access
Example:
The user will be able to choose the way he prefer to authenticate his access by App or the SMS.
